From about 2006 through 2011, these comprised the bulk of my painting work: small (3″ – 8″) oil paintings of imaginary landscapes. They are available for purchase through Etsy. They are based on fuzzy memories, travels to places like Nova Scotia and Iceland, pictures I’ve seen of places I’ve never been, locations in movies, and dreams. But mostly, they are invented while I’m painting them. Even though they’re small and simple, they can take me a really long time to finish!

Some of my favorites are shown below (the large photos) and on the pages for Series 1, Series 2, and Series 3, but you can also click any of the randomly-generated thumbnails below to browse a near-complete set of images in my Flickr photostream Some of the very first paintings plus some sold at craft fairs are missing (as I forgot to photograph everything I sold at fairs/shows), but mostly, what I’ve made is on Flickr.
